Weekend school: The Marxist theory of knowledge11-12 November
Saklatvala Hall, Dominion Road, Southall, UB2 5AA

Being a Marxist means more than just reading Volume 1 of Capital; it also means understanding the Marxist method of analysis and being able to apply it to the current circumstances; being able to put theory into action in the context of the struggle of the working class against imperialist capitalism and for communism. Without such an understanding, we are helpless to make sense of current issues, in particular the ongoing struggle between exploiters and exploited.

The aim of this weekend school is to give an overview of the principles of Marxist philosophy. Topics include Dialectical and Historical Materialism, Socialism: Utopian and Scientific, Dialectics of Nature and Contemporary Distortions of Marxist Philosophy.
If you are interested in attending, please check the party website (www.cpgb-ml.org) for details or contact Carlos: carlos@cpgb-ml.org. The school runs from 10.30am - 5.30pm both days. There is a £10 charge to cover costs. Lunch will be provided. Accommodation can be arranged for those from outside London.
