The battle of ideas is not a trivial affair, but a primary front in the class struggle. The role of Trotskyism in smuggling anti-worker positions into the working-class movement (under cover of revolutionary phrases) has been significant; the damage done tremendous.
If our movement is to be successful in future, young workers must be trained to recognise and refute these ideas. Without such training they will be easy prey to agents provocateurs, sent to push our movement off course and our activities into channels that are unthreatening to capitalist rule.
